Sunday morning on no sleep I hiked 6 miles and 4,000 vertical feet in 2.5 hours to reach the base of the technical climb. Here I paused to watch the sun come up. Hiking so fast I was drenched in sweat but quickly chilled. I was shivering when the sun and its warmth finally came up over the plain.
