Cyanotypes on fabric, (part of a bigger project). This was the first time I’ve made them on fabric and I learned quite a bit. I loved the happy accident created by one of the prints dripping water onto an undeveloped print from above, i may try to use that intentionally in the future

"Iceland" palette, made back in 2020 for a planned return trip to Iceland, and a tour of the remote west ghost towns there... i picked such wonderful volcanic blacks that faded out to lighter colors. COVID killed that trip, and then killed it again when I rescheduled in 2022. Some day...

I always love the effect that time and squirrels have on jack o’lanterns (jacks o’lantern?)

From north beach, san francisco, a (long erased) mural of Mary on the back of the "Steps of Rome" restaurant. Attempts to eliminate graffiti using white spraypaint made it look like the girl is crying.

An old cyanotype, one of my favorites. The developer is almost dry brushed on with a foam brush and little shamrocks are the only plants used, there is a piece of striped tissue at the bottom that barely registers.

Another "blue 600" pic, an accidental self portrait. I was changing the cartridge and was unaware that one unexposed picture remained. As i flipped the camera over to eject the cartridge, I hit the shutter button and took this unflattering pic.

I have some Polaroid “blue 600” film I’ve been saving, and today i thought I’d take some pictures of sunflowers. Blue 600 is very interesting film, the result of an accident when polaroid was working on color emulsions.

Cyanotype, “toned” in fenugreek tea and then selectively bleached with pool cleaner. The “moon” is the round foil top from a bottle of milk.
