Today, to mark the end of a busy term, the Bishop’s House team had an afternoon out at @sainsburycentre.bsky.social for lunch & a visit to the excellent ‘Loving the Rule: Contemporary meets Medieval’ exhibition. Great to see a C7th copy of Benedict’s Rule, & a C14th portable sundial. Happy day.

Check out our new work, Shadow Figures, by one of the country's most important sculptors, Helaine Blumenfeld. The work was inspired by the Plato's Allegory of the Cave, which said that we only ever see shadows of other people and the world around us until we begin to seek truth in our surroundings.
