For anyone with albinism, is there anything way I can make it clear that Fuui right here is a Black person with albinism? I created a presence design a couple weeks ago. I don’t know if I conveyed it as well in the chibi of the art #Blacktober #Blacksky #artskt

I'm thinking of giving Fuu Huouoji albinism for Blacktober and I know know that albinism may cause a degree of blindness or needing glasses. I know Fuu does wear glasses so I'm wondering if I DO give Fuu albinism, do I change the type of glasses she wears? I want specifically- #blacktober

Here's a sneak peak of that short story I was cooking! It's called "The duel at the Morning Moon!" Backed in a corner with no other choice, Morningstar must duel the cunning Duchess Hanna for the safety of her trusted Squire, Nasir who was captured- #Blacksky #writing #shortstory

The text says," 'If you ever want to see your squire again, come to the catacombs alone right before the sun rises tomorrow. Bring the crown. We settle this with our swords. Come alone. Should you fail to show up, I’ll send you his head in the next box.'
Princess Morningstar read the ultimatum over and over again in her mind as stood just in front of the catacombs below the retreat for the duchess of the Northern Isles. The moon, which still shone in the early morning, reminded Morningstar of her squire. Nasir wasn’t by her side to tell her the time, but even she could tell she only had three hours until daybreak. Three hours to make sure her squire comes home, and not in two pieces. Normally, Nasir would caution her about entering a dark secluded area alone, telling her that she’s far too open to danger for her-"

I gave Sapphire a lighter blue outline for the hair to give her a sort of glowing whimsical presence! one who is dreamy and commands the stage!

I also gave her fingerless gloves to reference an outfit I saw Janye Jackson wear which I thought were gloves

Janet Jackson in a white top, white pants. White jacket, and a white separated sleeve on her right arm

I wanted to give Sapphore a sea theme with her outfit becaise of her name, so you’ll see quite a few shells, pearls and animals on the outfit! The gold chain and purple bow was actually @sunnyartsandstuff.bsky.social ‘s idea! To make the outfit look less bare! - I wanted to incorporate-

A close up of Sapphire’s skirt which as a gold chain with a pink River dolphin and blue starfish charms. Another close up of Sapphire’s top with a Cuna seashell in the middle. Another close up of Sapphire’s skirt on her right, where a purple bow and close up of the pink seashell and Pearl clip of the fabric tail. There is also a photo of a pink river dolphin with an arrow pointing to the dolphin charm, and a screenshot of Sapphore with a headdress with a dolphin in the middle.

Pluto Plutoson! @sailorplutoirl.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

The seashell and stars at the top are referencing her official cutiemark!

A yellow seashell with two blue wave shapes and a Sapphire in the middle on the bottom

Sapphire Shores’ cutiemark, which is a yellow seashell with a Sapphire at the bottom and two blue wave like shapes on its sides. There are three blue stars above the seashell.

this is where I decinded to make the costume a two piece, so that I make the outfit proportions look more interesting! I based it off her doll design, which as a gold waist band woth a crown! Fitting that it has a crown harkening back to her title, based off the King of Pop!-

On the left is the Equestria girls doll for Sapphire Shores, a white and purple outfit with a gold band a little higher than the waist. On the left is a concept of Sapphore Shores, with a gold band a little higher than her waist.

Pluto Plutoson! @sailorplutoirl.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

THIS is where I started designing her full outfit! I wanted to give her a sleeker outfit, bit I also wanted to incorporate parts of her character like the fabric trail on her right! It’s meant to resemble her tail! She can clip it on or off!

Two concepts of Sapphire Shores with a sleek very pale yellow top and skirt, with a fabric trail that resembles a tail. The second concept is where her hair and trail are a lighter dark blue and light ocean blue, and the shell on her top is cyan instead of pink on the concept on the left.

Sapphire Shore’s tail, which is dark blue with baby blue streaks. She’s also wearing a tail accessory with a ligh blue and white poof.

120

Pluto Plutoson! @sailorplutoirl.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

I was specifically drawing from the character, Gunsmith B*tch! I even used a color similar to her lipstick later down the line! I made some more concepts where Sapphire had darker skin! I wasn’t intending to make her resemble Her voice actress Rena Anakwe-

A concept of a Sapphire Shores bust with darker skin On the left. Two photos of Rena Anakwe, her voice actress, are on the right. Anakwer has medium brown skin, dark brown hair, and a bit of a longer face.

I did say I would talk about what went into the design, so here we are! This forst concept was made back in April! Grom the beginning, I knew I wanted to have a Panty and Stocking influence! - #mlp #mylittlepony #Sapphireshores #paswg #Blacksky

A concept of Sapphiee shores from Friendship is magic with lighter brown skin, and dark blue hair with a baby blue streak. A screenshot of Panty from Panty and Stocking is to the right, and art of Gunsmith B*tch and a painted version of her body is to the left.

Sapphire Shores, but drawn with dark skin, an off white two piece outfit with gold lining at the waist and hip, dark blue hair in an Afro with a light blue streak, while she's holding a microphone. A seashell with a sapphire below and two stars on each side are above her and there are stars sprinkled across the background.

This volume reminded me of why I fell in love with Pluto as a character in the first place. She reflects a part of me that’s deeply lonely, and wants to give love to people that show me kindness. You want to protect them so badly. It’s always been a dream of mine to fight alongside a group-

Sailor Pluto is forlorn and clasping her heart. She thinks to herself “Small Lady. My one and only, my precious princess. I want to protect her with my entire being. I want to give her my love.” (This is all platonic)
