I can charge many places including at work. When I road trip I use a charger that may take an hour because I have the 2023 Bolt EUV. It’s one of the last “slow charging” Chevys. I walk the dog, use a restroom, get a coffee, and check my messages. I also clean the glass and check the tires.

Insurance is not higher. EVs are much safer due to a low center of gravity and vastly lower incidence of fire. I drive for 3 cents a mile compared to 15 cents in a comparable gasoline car. EVs don’t need oil, tune-ups, or brake pads/rotors. EVs save time.
