I’d like to admit I have been doing bong rips every morning to deal with the fact I’m still alive against my will in this country

This whole “making it” thing is starting to feel silly especially in this cursed timeline. But I’m making the coolest art I ever made in awhile. Maybe a breakthrough is coming..

Idk maybe things will change. Maybe I’m emo rn. But idk it’s hard to find tiny joys at this moment and I think we all know why 😭😂

Well lmao, ever since I moved here I haven’t had the opportunity to focus on producing til recently. I do find more joy directing and creating than burlesque itself at this point. Which is why I’d like to put burlesque in the backseat and music and show production to the front this year.

Idk what this means. But all I know is I still LOVE the art I’m making. And I think that’s why I’m still here.

Tbh the way I used to feel about burlesque is starting to fade and that scares me. Idk what it is. But it’s not something that makes me excited anymore. The way the art form has transitioned into something completely different (in a bad way) has made me feel really depressed

Got new shots from last week’s show! I was so lucky to be surrounded by WILDLY talented performers, and even luckier that we had such an incredible photographer to capture the vibes (shoutout to Manny Urban!)

As much as fleeing the country sounds AMAZING right now - I love where I live. I love the ppl here. And scaring us out the country is exactly what they want so lbvs.
