Sage Greene @sagegreene.bsky.social · 16hBrandon Sanderson talks about how this series shaped his own style. And when I started it, it felt like his work. But after finishing, it’s so clear how much better of a writer Robert Jordan was. Even tho I like Sanderson’s books a lot, now he seems like a slightly pale imitation. 150
Sage Greene @sagegreene.bsky.social · 16hI just finished Christian themed harem fantasy… I mean the wheel of time books! They were really fantastic. 191

Sage Greene @sagegreene.bsky.social · 05/10/2026When I started listening to the Dresden files I was still pretty new to audiobooks, and I didn’t realize the narrator was James Marsters (Spike). Either he improved over time, or his unprofessional style grew on me haha. But I really enjoy this series. 020

Sage Greene @sagegreene.bsky.social · 21/09/2026I really enjoyed this story that compiles contemporary accounts surrounding the 18th century shipwreck of the Wager and its crew’s attempts to survive in the aftermath. I had no idea how many everyday words and phrases come from sailing terms! lol 140
Sage Greene @sagegreene.bsky.social · 14/09/2026This book was recommended to me a couple years ago. One of the first ones I listened to at the beginning of my audiobook addiction. It was really fantastic! The sequel wasn’t bad but I enjoyed this one especially. 031
Sage Greene @sagegreene.bsky.social · 13/09/2026What are these commercials supposed to be telling us? “Now AI will be even better at scamming grandma.”? 030
Sage Greene @sagegreene.bsky.social · 07/09/2026As expected of a neuroscientist, Seth’s ideas are pretty exclusively about brain consciousness. I understand his perspective that theories like panpsychism are useless to practical science. I still enjoyed Being You lol. One new idea for me was really grasping how color is illusory. 040

Sage Greene @sagegreene.bsky.social · 03/09/2026I went with the non-hormonal copper option because I think the synthetic hormones were contributing a large part to my insomnia. Wish me healing in my quest for the key to dreamland! 060
Sage Greene @sagegreene.bsky.social · 03/09/2026Today was the first time I had sex since getting my first ever IUD placed about a week and a half ago. I was worried it might hurt but it didn’t! 🥳 160

Sage Greene @sagegreene.bsky.social · 31/08/2026I love big picture stuff that widens my perspective. Traipsing thru world history from the perspective of salt’s importance to humanity was just delightful; and has me craving the strangest things…🧂🐟🤔 It doesn’t get much better than reading ancient recipes! 140
Sage Greene @sagegreene.bsky.social · 27/08/2026I love this little pooping iguana. I call him Leonard. His face is really what makes the art. 080
Sage Greene @sagegreene.bsky.social · 24/08/2026Conscious is an easy overview of Harris’s thoughts on consciousness. In Lights On, those thoughts frame interviews with neuroscientists, physicists, philosophers + more. My 🧠 was stretched to its limits when they started talking theoretical quantum maths.😅 Just how I like it!😜 040
