I don’t really want to separate myself from purblethinkin, but I want to start fresh and approach my art with a different mindset. I don’t want to think about engagement and numbers anymore. I want to have fun creating things for myself, and if it makes one or two people happy, that’s enough. 🧡

Hi, it’s been a while! This was previously purblethinkin, but I have now completely changed everything and made this into a purely tmnt art account instead. If you ever wanna look back on my non-tmnt work, I still have my purblethinkin account up on tumblr with a decade’s worth of my art.

ok so their different ways of giving and receiving attention. like a dog vs a cat. do you see my vision #rottmnt #art

A mostly black and white illustration of Michelangelo and Donatello from Rise of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The illustration is black and white except for Michelangelo and Donatello's masks, with Michelangelo's being orange and Donatello's being purple, respectively. They're both in their signature gear. There are four different drawings in the illustration. In the top left, Donatello faces directly to the left, typing on his smartphone with a deadpan expression as Michelangelo hugs him from behind. Michelangelo's head faces away from the viewer, so his face cannot be seen. In the top right area of the illustration, there is a seperate drawing of Michelangelo hugging Donatello from the front; Michelangelo's chin rests on Donatello's chest as he looks up at him with a warm smile. Donatello looks away to the side as he slightly frowns, making a somewhat grumpy expression. In the bottom half of the illustration, there is a visual sequence with two different drawings. In the first drawing, Donatello is kneeling down and wrapping his arms around Mikey, who sits on the ground, slightly frowning with a surprised expression. The next image in the sequence shows Donatello resting his chin on Mikey's head, holding him in a soft hug as he looks to the side, the smallest of smiles on his face. Mikey grins wide, showing his teeth, and hugging Donnie back in response. At the very top of the illustration, there is a tiny doodle of Mikey and Donnie's heads; Mikey has little dog ears drawn on him, and Donnie has little cat ears drawn on his head in place of his goggles.

kickin’ off Black History Month by drawin’ these dudes 🫶🏾🫶🏽🫶🏿🫶🏾 #rottmnt #art #BlackArtist

A colored digital drawing of Mikey, Leo, Donnie, and Raph from Rise of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, except they’re all drawn as humans. They're all standing in a line drawn from the waist-up, turned three-quarters to the right against an empty, colorful background. All four of them are drawn with Afro-centric features. Starting from the left is Mikey, who has a dark, curly 4B afro and golden brown skin. He's a bit chubby and has a myriad of freckles and blemishes on his face and body. He has an orange headband tied around his head to hold up his hair. He has dangling earrings that are singular pieces of dried macaroni pasta. On his right cheek is a singular pink heart-shaped sticker. He's wearing an unzipped orange puffy jacket with bright yellow accents on the zipper, the pockets, and the collar. Under the jacket he's wearing a shirt with an abstract, retro design with bright neon magenta and cyan colors. Mikey looks towards the camera with a bright, toothy smile showing off his tooth gap. His left hand is in his pocket while he holds up his right hand, crossing the thumb over the index to make a heart gesture. His fingernails are painted bright orange with a pink gradient. Standing next to him on his right is Leo, his dark brown hair in fine, twisted box braids. He has honey-brown skin a little lighter than Mikey's, with patches of vitiligo de-pigmentation around his eyes, mouth, and shoulders. He has gold studded earrings and a bright blue bandaid placed over the bridge of his nose. He’s wearing a white, baggy tank-top that is so loose it drapes down enough for the viewer to see the blue binder he is wearing underneath. Around his neck is a gold dog tag. Around his left wrist is a band with the transgender flag printed around it. His nails are painted a deep blue. Leonardo smiles nonchalantly at the viewer, leaning to one side and holding a basketball under his left arm. He holds up his right hand to make a peace sign. (Alt text continues in the next image.)

Next on Leo’s right is Donatello, who has very dark skin and a little bit of acne on his face. He wears a large, deep purple hoodie and dark purple fingerless gloves. Wrapped around his head is a purple durag and a pair of silver headphones worn on top of it, covering his ears. He's looking down at his purple phone in his left hand, with his right hand shoved in his hoodie pocket. His thick eyebrows are furrowed, his mouth frowning in a serious expression. On the right of Donatello is Raphael, who stands taller than all of them. He has amber-brown skin and is a bit stout. He has bushy eyebrows and thick sideburns. Wrapped around his head is a red durag. He's wearing a large, deep red shirt and has white sports bandages wrapped around his hands. He gives a snaggle-toothed smile towards the viewer, raising his left hand in a casual wave. (Alt continued in the final image.)

The image of everything described previously. Above each of the humans is a little drawing of the heads of their original turtle forms corresponding to their respective counterpart to display which person is which.

There's an arrow below the drawing with hand-written notes that read: "Has a cool lightning-bolt tail because I think it's cool."

Rest of the alt: In the bottom right, there's a drawing of Donatello from the shoulders-down and turned to the right, his back facing towards the viewer. He's wearing a black battle shell along with sports bandages around his lower arms, and has a fairly long, lightning-bolt-shaped tail. (1/2)

Some notes on how I draw donnie, just cuz! (I couldn’t fit all the alt text in there, so I put the rest in the replies!) #rottmnt

Various sketch-style colored drawings of Donatello from Rise of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles all on one page. On the upper half of the illustration, there's two side-by-side busts of Donatello facing towards the left in a three-quarter perspective view. In the bust on the left, Donatello is just wearing his signature purple mask without his goggles or shell-covering, exposing his freckled shoulders and soft shell. He's casually looking slightly to the right, eyebrows furrowed, and frowning softly. There is an arrow pointed at him, along with a handwritten note next to him that reads: "Average Donnie. Is a bitch (said with affecIn the bust on the right, he looks exactly the same except his mask is completely off, revealing his face covered in purple freckles. He looks to the left, making a softer, pouting expression. There's another arrow pointing at him from the right, along with handwritten notes that read: "Wow, surprise! He's got freckles hiding under his mask!" On his left, there's a much smaller note that reads: "(Big-ass forehead)". In the lower left section of the page, there is a drawing of Donatello from the waist-up. He has his right arm folded across his chest, supporting his left arm which is bent at the elbow and raising his hand in front of his head, somewhat obscuring part of his face. Both of his hands have noticeably webbed fingers. His head faces slightly to the left while his eyes look to the right, one eyebrow raised in an exaggerated judgemental expression, his mouth slightly open in a soft frown showing his teeth. There are arrows on the right pointing towards his hands, along with a hand-written note that reads: "Has webbed fingers and toes, just like a real soft-shell turtle!"

drew this a bit ago and finally finished it up today. anyway baby mode 🐢💕 #rottmnt

A colored digital drawing of Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, and Raphael from Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as babies against a warm pink, empty background. They are each drawn with a little tail (with the exception of Raphael, who is drawn with a larger, more alligator turtle-like tail). Their proportions and body shapes are more chubby and rounded to accentuate their infancy; they're all only wearing little black shorts. They're all lying down on their backs together. Raphael, the biggest one, is sprawled out in the center of the picture, his eyes closed and his mouth hanging open slightly as he peacefully sleeps, his tail somewhat curled around his right leg. Michelangelo is curled up on the upper left with a curious little smile on his yellow-freckled face, holding onto one of Raphael's arms. Leonardo is on the upper right with his head resting against Raphael's, his mouth wide open in a big and bright smile, one arm raised and his feet kicking into the air. Donatello is in the bottom right and cuddled against Raphael, his head resting against the side of Raphael's leg. Donatello is also asleep; his face is somewhat scrunched into a pouty expression as he has his left hand sticking some of the fingers on his left hand into his mouth. He has webbed hands and feet, along with a numerous amount of purple, splotchy freckles on his cheeks.

ahh sorry the alt text got cut off on the second image when I copied and pasted from tumblr! The rest of it is supposed to say: “Donatello frowns with his brows furrowed in an impatient expression as he listens to Leo going on about this and that.”
