That specific example, no. But we've been killing and torturing people in other countries, torturing prisoners, funding a genocide, our police routinely excecute people in the streets while crowds watch. I gave one example. You can educate yourself on the rest, or you can live in denial.

I have to share this. We foster, and Murphy was always exceptionally sweet to the kittens. One pair was obviously separated from their mom too early. One of them started trying to nurse on Murphy, and all he did in response was groom her, acting like a mother while she burrowed into his chest.

I totally feel this. I lost my Murphy this summer at the age of 14. It was so unfair, I was so not ready... he was a wonderful cat and dammit he deserved to live to 50!

Yeah, etsy has become a nightmare. Revelry, or individual designers you may have had recommended. Also, hobbii has a pattern section, some are paid, some are free. There are some nice patterns on there. Disclaimer, hobbii has had some recent controversies regarding ai, so beware.

My entire adult life, I've been the one to call everyone on every holiday. One Christmas, my seizure disorder had a bad flare up and I was bed bound and seizing all day. I finally came to enough to look at my phone at about 7pm. Not one text. Not one missed call. That fucking hurt.

Hope you don't mind me chiming in here, but regarding my cat bed suggestion If you can't find thrifted chunky yarn, you can use old towels, t shirts, sheets, etc to cut up into ribbon yarn for any chunky yarn projects. Anything you'd turn into rags, you can make into yarn.

My old boys (Murphy sadly passed this summer) were huge too. One time my partner was home alone at his computer and Murphy scared the daylights out of him by tapping him on the shoulder 😂
