the only non-negotiable for writing is you have to read. doesn't matter if you're writing comics, prose, screenplays. read. read books, articles, scripts, comics. fiction and non-fiction. read lots of 'em and never stop reading.

my custom screensaver is so cute 😭😭

so glad i bought this ereader and took the time to learn KOreader bc i’ve read several chapters now. my ipad was too heavy to read on consistently and i don’t like reading books on my phone unless it’s my only option bc im not home or w/e.

got myself a kobo libra colour as a treat. 🥰 installed koreader on it, and syncing it with bookfusion so i can also continue reading the books on my iphone or ipad. i’m so happy with this set up.

should i put this chonker on my rear view mirror of my new car when i get it

140

rin 🦋 @saetbyeol.fyi · 25/09/2026

apparently my new car has an app where i can see the total mileage, how full my tank and battery are, i can control the temperature from a distance with it, i can even unlock my car with it *and* i can look for my car with it if i’ve lost it in a parking garage and much more. that’s so fucking cool.

rin 🦋 @saetbyeol.fyi · 25/09/2026

i’ve signed. the car will be mine in late november or early december. i am so incredibly grateful, happy, and so incredibly fucking lucky i get to do this at all. i have always dreamt of having either a pink or purple car and i cannot believe it’s a toyota of all things.

it’s so funny how financially literate i am, because i do spreadsheets, ive got 2 accounts (1 for bills, 1 for fun spending), and i’ve got jars i can fill in my online banking app that i use for grocery money, car expenses (new), health care own risk, and i have ofc my regular savings account.
