Valve added a Spatial Cursor that travels between all of your overlays in the latest Steam Frame OS Beta This activates whenever you have a mouse connected directly to the headset (Deckard is Valve’s Spatial Computer)

Steam Frame OS on the main staging branch (used mostly by Valve) upgraded the Linux Kernel from 6.18 to 7.2 That is 4 major version steps, so I expect the next Preview/Beta channel patch notes for Steam Frame to be somewhat large

Sigh.. Another thing. The foveated scaling in the Deckard-Plano panel is actually nothing special to Valve/SteamOS It is a built in feature for the Micro-OLED display’s backplane that make it possible for headsets like the Galaxy XR, for example, to even WORK on a lame SOC

One more thing: for many years, before Valve had any actual hardware to develop SteamOS (ARM) They were literally tethering Valve Index headsets to Snapdragon 865 dev boards to build the Software All the EV2, EV3, and MP references to Deckard-Plano are likely in the same vein
