I’m so very sorry 💔🐾 Run free beautiful Peyton

I have no idea how many cans of cat food I donated to the local animal shelter for this very reason, but it was a lot. 😂

Rest in peace, Riley the cat. You showed up here from who knows where and wove your life into our hearts. You were a good boy, a very good boy. I enjoyed watching baseball with you. We will miss you.

A fairly large pod of dolphins was feeding just offshore this morning.

Had a severe leg fracture years ago. Took a long time to find an ortho doc who cares to help with subsequent issues. But I finally found one who wants help me “one step at a time.” So I drive 1-1/2 hours one way to see him.

Second shot hit me hard, but having had shingles previously, I did not hesitate to get the vaccine. No question at all.

Diesel 7.99 here at the “cheap” station. I don’t drive a diesel but it’s insane.

It was 101 on our porch yesterday. I woke up last night at 1:30 and it was still 75! Very unusual for soquel.

Only when you want to change it. I left my account as is with a 🌈 after Sadie’s name. When the day comes that I’m ready to let it go, I will.

Yep. Former night owl but I had to get up at 4:30am for a job and it stuck. Now I’m up at 5, sitting on my porch and enjoying coffee in the peace and quiet. Best time of the day.

Maggie brightened every day with her floofs and beautiful, wise face. I, too, cried when I read her goodbye. ❤️🐾

I’m a diehard brewers fan and watched the whole thing. Can’t say I really enjoyed watching that 8th inning. Yikes.

Pixie loves mid morning shelter naps, then back out to gallop the pasture in the afternoon! Being 30 years old has its perks!

We had a little earthquake (4.1) about 45 minutes ago. Riley was sitting on his favorite envelope where he is still sitting 😂 Didn’t seem bothered.

It makes me smile so big to see and listen to an animal cronching on some good food. 😁
