Italian credits for Danza Macabra, boldly declaring “Tratto da un racconto di Edgard Allan Poe” (“Based on a short story by Edgar Allan Poe”), without specifying which one. Because there isn’t one. Nor is there an EDGARD Allen Poe, so 🤷🏻‍♀️

English credits for Castle of Blood, the edited and dubbed version of Danza Macrabra. Now Poe’s name is spelled correctly, and the story of undefined length is claimed to be “Dance Macabre”, the French name of the film but not the name of any actual work by Poe
