Admins everywhere, take note of this textbook sad corner flag. Wind free to denote the sombre atmosphere and under skies so moody they could have been painted by Constable. What a truly top class way to mark the end of the Cotterill era at Forest Green 🫡 9/10 #WeAreFGR

No nonsense sad corner flag work from Tranmere Rovers to bring the Adkins era to an end. All the ingredients are here. Club crest on the flag, pitch and stands in view, grey skies. But the overall effect feels a little forced. Overall, solid. 7/10 #TRFC

Top notch sad corner flagging by Carlisle to bring the Williamson era to an end. Hard to find fault with this super effort. #CUFC 9/10

The Ev have brought the Dyche era to an end with a breathtaking Sad Corner Flag that brings to mind Chagall’s The Horserider. Beautiful crest on a flag that flutters on a mild breeze of the Mersey, with the Goodison stands resplendent in the background. Lovely. 9/10 #EFC

Dulwich Hamlet just brought the Hayrettin era to an end with this Sad Corner Flag that brings to mind some of Constable’s later work with its sombre beauty. Full crest in the flag in the foreground and stand in the background. Green pitch under moody skies. Textbook. 9/10 #DHFC 👏👏👏

Marvellous SCF to bring the Strevens era at Dagenham to a close. The winter wind whistling through this coloured and initialled flag is enough to make us want to get back into the warmth with mulled wine and hold our loved ones tight. Superb 9/10 👏👏👏 #daggers

An impressive effort from Fleetwood to bring the Adam era to a close. Full flag in the foreground, stand out of focus in the background. So good you can almost taste the fish and chips and hear The Jolly Roger. 9/10 👏👏👏 #ftfc

Stand back and admire this beautiful Sad Corner Flag from Derry City. Full crest on the flag, its defiant redness reminiscent in a mad way of Kustodiev’s Bolshevik, a beacon of strength to show that even though the Higgins era is over, this is a beginning, not an end. Superb. 9/10 👏👏👏 #RAWA28
