Anecdotally, my 23 year-old daughter is pretty certain she'll never have kids. "Financial reasons" is way down her list of reasons. Far behind "the state of our planet currently" and "the state of a significant percentage of younger men currently".

I certainly hope so. While Democrats are preferable to Republicans, the type of Dems who are vocally anti-trans are the same ones who will get you watered down legislation that won't do shit to actually help anyone. Then the country will put the next Trump in power. This is a litmus test, IMO.

Sadly, that number isn't 32% because of the administration's awful treatment of the human beings ostensibly under their protection - they love that stuff! They simply hate gas and grocery prices.

That's a great way of putting it - there's a lot to like about the game, but much of the challenge feels artificial, not natural. I don't think it's coincidental that it's the only DS game not directed by Miyazaki.

I'm a huge fan of locking on, rolling from an attack, and swinging my sword - 180 degrees away from the mob. Or locking onto a mob way over there instead of the guy right in front of you. Or the awful hit boxes (mine and theirs). It's just so much sloppier than the other Dark Souls games.

Interesting. I keep my vigor, vitality and endurance in the low 20s, and level ADP enough to get my agility to 100. After that, I just pump levels into my weapon stat. You definitely don't see the increase in ATK like the other souls games, but it's something. Might be worth looking at?

I've 100% completed DS1, DS3, Elden Ring, and Sekiro. But when I finished DS2 the first time, I just couldn't bring myself to play it again. They did lean too heavily into artificial difficulty, IMO. And the hitboxes (giving and receiving) are so bad. Worst of any From game, IMO.

I don't think the problem is you making that decision-it's telling others they should do the same (speaking generally here, not to you directly). Every single one of us has a line that they won't cross to cast a vote. Implying the trans community (or their allies) can't have that line is a problem.
