FIGHTING DATA CENTERS
General Call To Discuss Tactical Wins, State-By State
Americans everywhere are rising to the moment and fighting back against data centers where we live. Join your fellow members and members of the Campaigns team to review strategic pathways to victory, and to discuss what wins (and risks) we're seeing across the country.
Driven by the explosion of AI infrastructure and its immense resource demands, data centers have become a highly salient, contentious, and rapidly evolving political and environmental issue. A lack of public oversight threatens to only further enrich the ultra-wealthy technocrats who are undermining our democracy.
The window is closing for rational voices to intervene. Third Act is convening monthly calls on data centers this year to cover multiple strategic pathways to counter the threat: we’ll cover legal, corporate, political, and narrative approaches to winning these fights. Last month, we hosted a webinar on legal and regulatory approaches; this month is to discuss what kinds of tactical wins we’re seeing across states.

WHAT ARE WE FIGHTING FOR?
We protest every Saturday against the multitude of destructive actions and policies of the Trump administration attacking the environment, immigrants, education, science, adversaries, blue cities, free speech, judges, and the rule of law. Come speak truth to trump's increasing use of unlawful authoritarian power whose main goal is to enrich himself and the billionaire class. Speakers welcomed at this long running weekly protest started by Angus Ferguson. Bring a friend. Creative signs applauded.

Who says protesting can’t be fun? If holding a sign is not your thing, maybe a sing along is! Regardless, our #NoKings protest on March 28 is about building community and standing together in solidarity against the people who are trying their hardest to destroy our country. We need you! #MEPolitics
