Poster means that MANY fewer people would do this if they had a stronger bike network. But for those who do today, your point that they’re deadly is true but in very few cases, while cars cause way more of the deaths. Like 95% of them. Not even close. So can we cry the big fish before the minnows?

Thanks. I looked it up. Yep, it’s 50. I’m surprised only because I rarely see buildings where each apartment is only one set of windows wide, even in famously squeezed NYC. It’s a combo of 1 and 2bd apts. so I’m still a little puzzled but that’s no one’s concern. It’s real.

Bike lanes and trash container placement are two things that get much more complicated by sizable snow. Snow-blowing golf carts for bike lanes, and to let people put out trash in bags if the snowbank is above a certain height so containers don’t fall on people.
