The overlap gets deeper. Ford's eyes are closed and one of his arms has slipped inside Bill. Bill is clinging to Ford with one hand while the other hand flails. Text reads "H- holy, holy shit. Oh, oh Bill", "ah, mmn" and "F- Ford"

Ford's arm lifts free of the flat plane so that it can come to rest on Bill's open eye. Bill looks shocked, a small "!" bubble appearing over him.
