Yeah, it does suck. There is one thing more effective than laser hair removal, but it's much more expensive, and a lot slower. That would be electrolysis. I recommend only doing that if laser doesn't work, as a last option

Laser is definitely a mixed bag, it works for some people and not for others. It all depends on where you go, what your skin tone is, and what your hair looks like Milan laser is what I'm doing, and it has been working for me so far. It's also not super expensive because it's financed over time
