Lighting a candle after doing something exciting or taxing at work is always a good come down to reset your system. A scent tied to the current season is great but spearmint, cardamom, or lavender are also good options. The point is regulation and finding your baseline.

*sigh* I need these companies to believe in physical media again. I understand soundtracks being out of print. However, a physical copy having never been an option is aggravating. Sometimes you want to pop a CD or cassette in, put something on the turntable not just click a mouse.

you're not doing so with any kind of expertise whether you're getting assistance from AI or not. That's not possible. You're going for short-term traffic gains and articles that have a short shelf life. It's grueling work and it takes the soul right out of your chosen field. Speed is not helpful

Been thinking on the argument of AI as a tool to increase speed. In my field, I welcome its use for interview transcription and audio features for accessibility. But for an increase in article production, I think that's short-sighted. It clogs the pipe. If you're publishing 100+ articles a month

Louis and Regina's story has been occupying my thoughts non-stop. The tenderness that lives at the center of this incredibly messed up dynamic in The Vampire Lesat has me by the heart. #IWTV Article: buff.ly/SAEFR7P

Grief and an aching desperation to right wrongs that can never be fixed sit at the heart of Louis’ (Jacob Anderson) story in The Vampire Lestat. His true seasonal arc begins not with Bruce’s (Damon Daunno) death but rather in the Brick & Bacon, a New York City diner where a 20something waitress named Regina (Delainey Hayles) works shifts that don’t get her any closer to making ends meet.

In episode 4, “The Devil’s Road,” sandwiched in-between Lestat’s (Sam Reid) worsening mental breakdown in the wake of Gabriella’s (Jennifer Ehle) departure and Daniel’s (Eric Bogosian) explosive reunion with Armand (Assad Zaman), lies a quiet storm of bad decisions and an emotionally ruinous agreement. There is a tender toxicity to the bond Louis forges with Regina that speaks to the overwhelming heartbreak from which its born.

But these stolen moments remain in the same conversation as the rest of Interview with the Vampire’s third outing. One that explores parenthood, transactional relationships, and what it looks like to hide in the possibility of someone else instead of facing yourself.

While I do think Elle's drop into a Seattle high school where every student wears dark clothing and flannel is a bit on the nose, I do like how much her pink pops and stands out in the crowd. I'm looking forward to the Legally Blonde prequel series. It looks both cute and fun.

A teenage Elle Woods walks into high school. She's wearing all pink and using a pink umbrella. The students around her are all dressed in grey. Behind her a gold car is driving away.
