Microscopy folks who uses an AxioScan, how do you handle your files for quantification? My files are too big for Image J to open and too big to create tiffs out of them. I can downsize for some of them, but it won’t be possible for all. #microscopy #image

Why is the NIH investing $$ to study "transgender" mice🐭? 🤔 Let me explain 👇 🧵 TL;DR This has everything to do with your health and nothing to do with making people #transgender. #ScienceSavesLives

Disappointing new study showing - once again - that women are leaving research careers at far higher levels than men If you're interested to read about strategies to reverse these types of curves, check out our recent #Cell perspective- link below ⤵️ #WomeninSTEM 👩‍🔬👩🏾‍🔬🧪 www.nature.com/articles/d41...
Among nearly 35,000 biological scientists who authored their first paper in 2000, women were more likely than men to have stopped publishing after 5, 10 or 20 years. The size of this gender gap varies between disciplines.

I tried to go get ice this morning without an ice bucket…. This is why I don’t do science without coffee🤦🏻‍♀️

Hello Bluesky! I guess I should introduce myself. I’m a postdoctoral fellow in Lynn Hedrick’s lab at the Immunology Center of Georgia. In love with all things lipids and myeloid cells! Microscopy nerd although I do spend more time looking at scatterplots than images lately!
