Bestie asked me to help her sort through her 2 full closets to find clothes to get rid of but forgot I was a musical theater kid… I’m like “ok so it’s not an every day blouse, but with the ruffles it’s perfect for a last minute Hamilton costume.” Her 2 closets are only 5 shirts lighter now 😂😂

After losing my boy in July I’m still not ready to commit to another forever dog yet and I think he would be happier having a little human to grow up with, BUT one of my old co-workers is already thinking about adopting him for her little boy once his surgeries are done and he’s good to go :-)

If you’re worried that Yoda only ever sleeps on the bare floor, those are just his mid-play snoozes when he tuckers out. He has a fluffy bed & his favorite blankie that he drags onto his bed for bedtime. I don’t make him sleep in a kennel bc he’s a good boy who uses the dog door & doesn’t chew.

They said is the kennel cough pup when they asked me to take him so the other pups wouldn’t be exposed & since I don’t have any of my own pets rn, he can heal here without having to worry about him spreading it. It must have been a really mild case tho bc he’s only coughed twice since yesterday.

Yoda had a check up at the vet today and the meds aren’t working on his ear as much as they hoped so we will find out next week if he also needs surgery so keeping our fingers crossed for good news. Then he came home and played so hard that he tuckered himself right out 🥹

He plays like a toddler going & going until he tuckers out and has to stop in the middle of playing for a little snooze and he’s such a gentle guy, once he’s healthy & recovered from his surgeries, I think he would LOVE a little human to grow up with.

They didn’t tell me his backstory, but he’s 2 years old & whoever had him before must have loved him a ton bc he’s super chill. Within minutes he settled in like he’s lived here forever even going out to the bathroom on his own & he’s so gentle without even a hint of fear, aggression, or anxiety 🥹

Yesterday the shelter texted asking if we could take a new foster bc they got a pup with an ear infection & kennel cough & didn’t want him infecting the other pups while he waited for his neuter & nose job. Petition for airlines to indicate on the seating chart which seats have been booked with pets. I would pay extra to sit next to someone’s dog on a flight!! It would also allow people with allergies to choose seats further away so it’s a win win 🤷🏻‍♀️
