Next step in my studies was applying what I learnt to a pose of some kind, instead of just a face-on standing shot. That in mind, time for another Gobbification of a character I enjoy drawing; Mizu. Think it came out pretty good. Not sure what to label this, gonna slap suggestive on for language.

Friend reminded me that www.youtube.com/@LinesSensei exists, and I saw they had a shortstack tutorial. So I figured, fuck it, why not. I haven't drawn Tess in a good while and I've been slacking on my studies. Honestly, I'm extremely happy with how this came out, I highly recommend their videos.

I commit so much time and effort to give others joy and I live for it, but beyond how unhealthy that is, to neglect myself in lieu of others, there's just never enough time to give all the happiness I want to. I think I have a small issue to overcome. I'm able to draw, I'm physically capable of it in these quieter moments, but for some reason my mind keeps associating it with 'work'. Which it kinda is in a way, but I noticed I see it less as an enjoyable pastime and more of a task that needs to be done.

Maybe I'm a bit of a bitter man these days, but things seem to irk me the more I see them. I don't mind some reaction content for example, dubious as it is at times. My issues lie when they don't bother waiting for natural pauses or lulls to pause, or when they over-pause for little to no reason.

Okay apparently I've forgotten how to draw fucking heels. It's not even a complex pic, but even the basic shape of it is meshing with me for some reason. Every time just looks awful and makes the legs wrong by proxy. Then thats half the whole body looking dogshit, it's a damn cascade failure.

Idle thoughts bring interesting ideas. New headcanon, Gameoverse and Indie Cross take place in the same universe. It's just that where the Syntax are speeding up the natural progression of a game world to get its essence, the Rogues seem to just use brute force to break through a worlds System Lock

Gameoverse seems promising. A solid concept, some fun designs and nods to the gaming culture, even its visual style with the way its lines are just a little bit pencilly, I like it. Something about it holds it back, hard to pin down. It hits the notes, I just think it was in too much of a hurry.

(Lil bit bright I apologise) I'm in a neat lil Westmarch-esque PF2e game and once of the characters I play is Glawr. Theyre on Foundry of course and have a module that puts lil splash images up when you crit succeed and crit fail, so put a lil oomph onto makin' a set for it. Heres the success one.
