I realize they did the same with Mario Kart 8. But the big difference was the popularity of the Wii-U vs. the Switch. MK8 was held back on the Wii-U. But, from what I've seen, the Switch 2 just isn't the commercial heavy-hitter that the Switch 1 was. More of the same thing with some better specs...

Just found out that the Shimmer DLC is only available to the Switch 2 version of Xenoblade 3. Call me crazy, but it seems a bit "fuck you" for Nintendo so say "Oh yeah, we're making new DLC for those games you love, but only on our new console.

I wanted to add more, but limited space. Say what you want about the HBO series (it's probably deserved), but the books for Song of Ice and Fire are really good. And, saving the absolute best for last, Tolkien's works are still absolutely worth a read, especially after the films.

I wholly support this. Besides, there are so many better stories out there to experience. Harry Potter isn't even that GOOD. The Dresden Files. Dragonlance. The Witcher. Discworld. And so, so many others. And if that craving for "Magical Acadamy" is too strong, play a Strixhaven D&D campaign!

But Secret of Evermore is legitimately a really fun game. It's fairly easy, has solid progression without overwhelming mechanics, and a story that's easy to follow. It's great for a kid's first RPG. Also, an NPC claims to be Cecil (from FF4) and repairs your broken Bazooka.

My first game was SMB on the NES. I played a lot of games on both NES and SNES, but ... of all the games on the SNES, this one captured me like none other before. A lot of people (incorrectly) blame this game for the reason we didn't get Trials of Mana, and Trials of Mana IS my favorite game.

Yeah, I was stuck at 13 for awhile. This is the third day in a row it's happened. Oddly enough, I was also having issues in the Sea of Clouds earlier. If I logged in, or zoned out of a dungeon while in Sea of Clouds, my PC would hard-crash. Had to world travel just to log back in.

Any time a Mogtome event is live, I always get tanks that never use mits, and even sometimes don't use their stance. I typically say something like "So, has anyone else been running into players using bots? I always find them during Mogtome events." It usually forces whoever is tanking to wake up.
