Stepping down as a ShinyDex Ambassador. I do not condone any use of Generative AI in any shape or form.

I'm sure some of you have been made aware of the ShinyDex already but for those who haven't, it was confirmed that ShinyDex used Gen AI in the coding process.

As a result of this, I will be stepping away from the ambassador program and will no longer be endorsing ShinyDex.

I do not stand for ANY use of Gen AI in any way shape or form. I never have and I never will. I stand by that. I would not have been associated with the site had I, or any of the ambassadors, known that this was the case beforehand. I am deeply saddened and disappointed to be writing this right now, but I cannot continue to move forward with a program that directly goes against my morals and what I stand for.

I would also like to make it clear: please do not attack Ben, or anybody who is associated with ShinyDex. There are a lot of people behind this project who poured their heart and soul into it and were not previously aware about any use of generative AI. Please allow some time & grace for those involved while more statements come out.

Fuck Gen AI. Thank you for your time.

Hi everyone. This is not an update I was expecting to make today, but we're really struggling. I posted a full update in my discord but TLDR we had to take our kitten, Plum, to the ER this morning. He's been drooling on and off for months, which is a sign that he has some underlying health issues. Last night, his symptoms intensified a lot. He's been depressed, hasn't been eating and can't even get comfortable enough to nap. Today the vet found he's most likely dealing with a liver shunt, which is life threatening and the surgery for it is very expensive and has several complications. Unfortunately due to our moving situation we need a little help right now. Of course donations are never necessary, but they are extremely appreciated. Even spreading the word helps a ton. I've attached a GoFundMe to this post if anybody would like to donate. I love you all. Thank you. ❤

12,515 Encounters. 260 hours. (roughly) On March 15 2020 I decided to start what would end up being my longest shiny hunt of all time. 1,720 days later, Roaming Zapdos finally shined! An absolute dream hunt of mine that is finally over. Thank you for all your support ❤️ BIRD UP
