i believe comparing it to arguments against noncon are also disingenuous because adults have agency, whereas children do not. they are a vulnerable demographic and cannot consent ever. the distinction is clear here when it involves children

shiloh's intent becomes moot when we weigh that against how explicitly she is showing a child in a sexual situation, even if it were completely fictional, and we are only a certain degree of separation away from reality when we engage in rpf so i believe that argument falls flat here

its also important to be responsible about how you depict children and sex- its dangerous to center what the child is doing or whats done to them and how graphic it is depicted since there is a non-zero chance that offenders and real pedophiles can use it for harm

taboo subjects SHOULD be explored, but we should interrogate why we are engaging in it. are you aroused by it involving children? in that case you should identify what separates you from an offender. i'm not accusing anyone but i believe you should be critical of what you normalize internally

it esp crosses a line for me when its of a real person. does it become ok to depict a real child like that if you rationalise it by saying it's just a fictional version of them in your art? i don't believe so. but he was a real child once, so why should it be ok to depict him as a child doing that?

but to me i think there's a line to be drawn with depicting csem esp of someone who is a real person, and at many points of his life, was a real child. we've seen pictures of him as a kid, there is content that exists of him as a minor. i don't think it changes anything to frame it as fiction

i believe we have a responsibility as creators, and especially in the rpf space, to understand we have already crossed a boundary, but that doesn't mean we should throw away ethics entirely because of it. exploring things like kink and disturbing themes are not forbidden in fiction of course

Yes! But the interesting thing is that because Korea is a relatively developed country and was very war ridden, there is not a lot of written record of a lot of speech habits.

So although 형님 (hyungnim) was used even by females, the interesting thing is that males used 언니 (unnie) to disassociate from any sino-influence, as 언니 (unnie) is a native Korean word. If you're interested in historical k-dramas, you might want to guve 추노 (chuno) a watch, as the male characters there use 언니 (unnie) to refer to one another. Here is an article from when this was a hot issue!
