scenes from my thesis - be water - a look into hong kong, architecture, and the role it plays in preserving culture amidst protest and impending extinction. #hongkong #art #architecture #design #culture #thesis

A black umbrella with the text below: "there is a crisis in hong kong. A culture is going extinct.

A collage of various news articles relating to the hong kong protests in 2019. A blue rectangle with the words "moment of crisis" is shown, the word crisis has its letters all fallen down as if they were affected by gravity.

An image of a bookstore inside a makeshift pavilion - formed of modular pieces. A short dialogue between two characters says "hey noir, we did it." "I was worried it wouldn't stand up, that we made a miscalculation in the designs. But wow. She's perfect." "I just hope that the books don't get wet." "Don't jinx it."

hi bsky! i'm neon, and i design as both my job and my hobby! (architect daylife, graphic design nightlife) here's some of my works (personal and client work)

jacket art for a song by dj raisei. a girl is falling backwards with an assortment of leaves as sun rays from a portal shine down on her. the characters "墜光の都市より" are scattered about.

skewed letters arranged on a poster spell out "rainfall". there is a description in the bottom right. the description is as follows: "$10 matinee showing / the sound of the rain pitter patters against the window, reminders of the sun washed away as the earth applies a fresh coat" there are assorted yellow geometric shapes and patterns in the background.

geometric patterns of red, black, white, and green. the text "fluctuation / an irregular rising and falling" are overlaid.

an girl and an umbrella with weather symbols are laid on top of a dark sky, with the text "weathergirl". there are leaves in the top right corner.
