My gazebo after yesterday's hail storm is an accurate reflection of how my veggie garden fared. I laughed at the gazebo, but cried for my plants. Giving it a day to see what can bounce back, then replanting what it's not to late to start over. A gardener is a steward; nature is the real boss.

After two and a half years of looking, applying, and being ghosted, I started a new job exactly a month ago. It's not my dream job, but it's got a lot of positives. Today I got to enjoy the bike commute for the first time, and it was fantastic. Planning for that to be the default going forward.

I think this is the final update on the garden in an active state. Here are the potatoes! We got just shy of five gallons of potatoes from five planters. While there were a few tiny taters, most were a decent size. They were incredibly easy, and we will definitely be doing these again next year.
