My former boss fired me and 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝟭𝟯 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀. He locked me in a room, threatened me, and forced me to sign a fake payment receipt. He told me: "𝗜 𝗮𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗜 𝗮𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘄. 𝗡𝗼 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗴𝗲𝗲." I cannot afford a lawyer and was too terrified to report him to the labor inspectors.
