What about something similar to a Dancer? Most form of dance involve extreme control over your extremities so a class that employs dances while single/double/triple or even quadruple wielding thanks to their dexterity sounds really interesting to explore as a concept.

If we analyze his fighting style it is quite raw, but not in a sith way, it actually resembles the way kylo fights a lot. I always thought it was due to the choreographies of the era but it would definitely fit with this theory in place.

Mmmm that would be really interesting, the Knights of Ren we saw in the movies were formed in the same year the original trilogy occurs, now a different knights of Ren order, that is interesting. Specially since they are kind of a 4th force ideology.

Yeah it is really refreshing. And I can see that, he indeed seemed more like the ideology of an unaligned dark side for user than a sith but since the acolyte happens 100 years before the prequels the timeline would not fit.

It is a really nice character study since he is not as white and black as some other star wars characters.

Pretty much, I believe he would had seen the signs being much closer to Anakin and had swayed him into creating something different and not the empire per se. Like many things Lucas did to me Thrawn is the representation of how an ideal that looks good on paper can become something really vile.

If the Republic could solve all the issues with their methods he would had followed them, if the empire could he would had followed the empire. Rather than having an agenda of superior belief he just wanted the best outcome at the biggest scale possible.

Maybe opposite is an exaggeration, Thrawn is someone that is moved by efficiency, his vision would had been different to the Empire and what Palpatine wanted. The reason why I say he is the opposite to fascism is because his ideologies come from efficiency rather than a feeling of superiority.

There is a nice scene in rebels when he is preserving a cultural antique from destruction on the guise of "we should always learn from others, understand their culture" as a mean of improving. The opposite is also true though, if he doesn't see the value in it then he is as extremist as some.

He is an elitist though. His whole ideology rather than an empire is a meritocracy. As long as you are capable he doesn't care about anything else. Which is why his vision can easily evolve into a more extremist one.

Thrawn is actually the opposite, even among the empire forces and Grand admirals he is the most predominant one against the human elitism among the empire. Even on rebels he is the only one not looking down on other species.

If Thrawn had joined and remained in the Republic after meeting Anakin the first time, Anakin wouldn't had been manipulated by Palpatine into creating the Empire.

I enjoy more of the former if I want to get invested into an universe or the latter if I just want to do a quick read. The former keeps the author accountable which makes for more thought out developments when done right(an example would be Fate). The latter makes for funnier moments.
