Raring to go at the Materia Cup qualifier in Glasgow! Here are the new things I have this year. Many thanks again to West End Games for organising. Good luck to everyone in both the Final Fantasy & Warhammer games today & hope you all have an excellent time! #finalfantasytcg #finalfantasyart

No, not *that* one, that's next year. The other one. :B

I will be doing some sketches this October, but I've got events coming up that I need to focus on, so I've chosen to do some Soulstober/ DS3 bosses in the latter half of the month. I *am* planning something for Huevember though, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of a certain franchise. 👀

Trying to keep my posts as spoiler free as possible, but in case this helps anyone, DON'T confuse a building number with the same numbered location on the map and DO inspect every door closely. Must have passed the same one a dozen times before I saw the "open" prompt. :')

Who's going to the @kupocon.com Cardiff pop-up? I'll be there on Saturday with postcards & WoL stickers to give out. Longtime followers may recognise this preview. Originally done in 2015, but so on theme for a Welsh Final Fantasy event that I couldn't resist. 👀 #Kupocon #FinalFantasyArt #RyuuzaArt

Preview of a Welsh themed Final Fantasy postcard print that I'll be giving out at the Cardiff Kupocon pop-up.

Our cat had never had catnip outside of toys, so our neighbour brought some cuttings for her to try... (No we did not let her have the whole bag, despite her insistence)

Coyote vs ACME was so much fun! I also loved the post-credit fan dedication/ middle finger to WB. ;u; ❤️

Apart from the lost work, I'm completely mortified that it just looked like I was ignoring them on both platforms. 😭

I just missed out on a commission, as neither Instagram or Discord notified me of new DMs, even though both are set to push. Only realised after opening Insta to check something and seeing the red dot. Discord showed nothing at all, though the message is there. So yeah, that's not worrying at all. 🙃

Returnal is a fascinating game, but, like Hades, it's reminding me how much I suck at rogue-likes. 😂

...we have to keep telling people repeatedly that PIP is not an out-of-work benefit and actually keeps us IN work. This is also why when politicians keep throwing around "benefit reform", it terrifies us. :\

...my ability to do commissioned/ contract work, so being able to pivot to physical items saved me. With online sales basically being dead now, if PIP gets taken away at review, I'm finished. No PIP = no stock = no earnings. *This* is why...

Ryuuza - Kitacon Undercover @ryuuza.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

Great, my review has started. Well that's it then, no extension and probably no PIP after April. Before I got it in 2023, I had no way of affording *any* of the merch I make now, let alone being able to attend more than a couple of events a year. My health has tanked...

My most popular piece on blusky seems to be this, which, fair. It's pretty good

Darkwing Duck, Gosalyn, Launchpad, and Morgana stand in a circular stone room, with an open, empty coffin. Darkwing holds a mallet and a carrot. Dangermouse and Penfold stand by. There is a staircase rising above them, and Count Duckula is descending it, grinning. His shadow rises up on the wall in the shape of a bat.

This was my favourite cosplayer at #Fanfest Berlin - Gerolt. He would give you a task to collect memories & then he would upgrade your relics (cosplay weapons). In my case, I paid with a Tomestone of Poetics - he added a bell on a string then tapped it with his hammer. 14/10 fantastic #cosplay idea.
