🦎 FUNDRAISER & HOMELESS UPDATE 🦎 For those who haven't seen my Announcement. Going through a lot of serious life things currently, your support means the world to me 💙 ko-fi.com/tikri ✨

Transcript:
Fundraiser Update & I'm Going To Be Homeless
Afternoon Beans! @Hotel Announcements and Its another @everyone situation!

Firstly both me and @ShanChan want to thank you all SO SO MUCH for all your amazing support throughout our Cozy Nook Fundraiser 💙
We hadn't imagined everyone to be so generous and help raise £3,855 for us, totally SMASHING our £2,000 goal!
Truly from the bottom of our hearts 💙Thank You all so much💙

About the move itself
We do however have some pretty bad news...

The property which me and Shan had applied for and spent over a month waiting to move into has been denied
Which leaves us in a very tough situation, my current housing situation will be ending on the 8th Oct and without this property it means I will officially be Homeless after this date.
Homeless being without a permanent place of residence.

With my full time work being a Streamer / Content Creator who works self-employed from home, as you can imagine this will be a pretty major issue for me and is going to be a very tough time in my life.

I have booked some temporary housing close to Shan in the mean time so that we can both look for a new rented property together, however the cost of this temporary housing isn't cheap so won't be a long time solution.

Some positives
The temp housing I'm moving too should allow for me to bring my streaming setup with me so depending on how good the WI-FI is I may be able to stream.
However stream times may be a bit up in the air and if the WI-FI isn't stable enough I may have to focus more on emergency commissions offline moving forward.

Shan luckily is in an ok spot and won't have to move out right away.

Going over our fundraiser goal has honestly been a huge boon.

We will try to keep you all posted over the next few weeks as things develop, and again THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for all the love and support 💙

If anyone still wanted to help dono my ko-fi is below~

I am now two weeks without work.. keep messaging my boss about whether or not we have enough to do. He says, "I'll get back to you." Nothing. This went from a dream job to a nightmare in only half a year... it's been almost a year since I started this job

Ryu (SuddenPaws) @ryusuddenpaws.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

okay gonna just call it for this week, barely slept last night so I'll try to make up for it next week with an extra stream

i think one big factor (among many) as to why AI has had such a foothold in coding spaces is because the majority of people dont consider programming to be art

it is btw. anything that is capable of existing with the intent of altering ur emotional state, and that goal being achieved differently depending on the person because of difference in life experiences is art in my eyes. anyone trying to loudly convince u otherwise should be immediately distrusted

Im in the same boat and just stick to not talking about this sort of thing on stream unless it comes up in conversation. Sad part is if you share your strong stance against it, people will get toxic quick because "its everything i want in a game!" Or something like that, I cant stand the hypocrisy

I'm just gonna say it, but it fucking SUCKS being a streamer with such stubborn and strong morals because unless I have no clue, I refuse to concede and play games using / promoting / flooding with GenAi. I'm so tired of seeing folks give in and act like they're Anti-AI but won't quit games with it.

Welp, I'm sick. Really I've been sick but was hoping I'd be better by now, but today I woke up feeling like I could vomit... this after only two hours of work last week and today being unable to get to work... on top of getting paid five days late... yeah I'm really not in a good position right now

i know its hard to go to a doctor when you dont have the energy.. but as someone who also has PTSD, getting the diagnosis is very liberating <3
