On one hand it's gonna suck to not have wifi for the next week at least, so I'm gonna miss out on all the gaming news in the next few days. However, I will finally have moved to a place where I can have my own space again to play and record! Back to vo work this year at last

Let's Keep Calling!

An image of a huge jackboot crushing a comic artist and a bunch of comic pages. The boot is marked by the logos for MasterCard, Visa, Paypal, and Stripe. Below the image there is text which reads: Don't let Payment Processors tell YOU what you can buy! It is not a payment processor's role to decide what kind of content you can or cannot spend money on, so long as it is a legal transaction. Fight back against the unjust policies hurting artists and creators online!

James Earl Jones was wrong to sign off on this. I repeat: He. Was. Wrong. You can disagree. Think I'm disrespectful for disagreeing with him. Think that this is a way to "immortalize" him in this role. You are wrong. He was wrong. This is fucking terrible.

Day 29, A game you didn't expect to like but ended up loving: Undertale

Day 28, Favourite game developer: Eh, don't have a favourite.

Ryu Prime @ryuprimeva.bsky.social · 15/02/2025

Day 25, A game you plan on playing: Death Stranding 2. Very curious to see what the next step is for this franchise given the ending of the first and the trailers for the second

Day 24, Favourite classic game: It depends how old you mean by "classic". I guess Pokemon Gold/Silver. I sunk a lot of hours in those gameboy games.

Day 22, A game sequel that disappointed you: Oo boy! This took a bit to think about, but then I remembered Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. I liked the first one, and while I'm no fan of the Civil War storyline, I was expecting a deeper narrative where your choices actually mattered. Alas, they did not.

Ryu Prime @ryuprimeva.bsky.social · 11/02/2025

Day 21, Gsme with the best story: Once again, very subjective answer, but I'll go with Undertale with how neatly and concisely its narrative flows from beginning, middle and end

Day 20, Favourite genre: Depends on the mood. Sometimes it's rpg, others it's hack and slash, and on occasion it's tactics.

Ryu Prime @ryuprimeva.bsky.social · 09/02/2025

Day 19, Game setting you wished you lived in: I think Gridania from FFXIV would be a nice spot

100

Ryu Prime @ryuprimeva.bsky.social · 09/02/2025

Day 18, Favourite Protagonist: Dang it, keep forgetting about this list. Pk so there are too many to choose from, so I'll go for one of the not obvious ones, Raziel from Soul Reaver

If you do not like that your games are being released without voiceover, please write to the companies producing them and tell them to sign the SAG-AFTRA INTERIM AGREEMENT to guarantee their actors the right to consent to being fed into generative AI. We are being denied that right.

Day 10, Best Gameplay: Sorry keep getting pulled away by irl shiz. This is an unfair question tbh, I like a variety of game styles so I can't pick just one definitive gameplay. I'll just put Baldur's Gate 3 here cuz how immersive it is.
