This is coming from a Big Bang defender as well. Guess the only thing I really wanted out of Big Bang was to not get one or two shot on every enemy. That was probably the only streamline they needed to do.

I think the original friction in Maple Story is what made it so memorable and special. It's great to have this back again and to see so many people on every map going back to parties and just grinding this out.

I think it's that everyone on reddit wants to be a reviewer but they don't understand why people read reviews whether it's to deepen the conversation of an artform or provide opinion on if something is worth your time or not. I definitely prefer the former myself. I just like a lot of things.

I'm not sure why it bugs me so much but redditor "reviews" of things where they score it an 8/10 specifically and do not elaborate or actually critique are the worst. I dunno, I just don't think numbers really add a single useful thing to the conversation.

I'm really really REALLY enjoying the Steamframe with both games and the literal computer strapped to your head aspect. There's some bugs which is to be expecting but most of the time it just works. It'll be really nice once it starts getting more support externally.

Honestly the only thing I'm not the biggest fan of is his new Tunic. It fits the forest theme well but it's still a bit messy. I think the environments looks gorgeous though.

Now the very big question is to see how momentum shifts from this video to the next upload. If I can get that figured out, I might've finally broken the difficulty of the YouTube algorithm and then I'll have to do it again when I change games or content types.

Between that and messing with A/B testing on thumbnails a bit, I'm getting constant traffic comparatively to past videos. It's solving an issue that I've had with new releases for quite some time. I usually get stable traffic on videos years later.

So YouTube changed the way how views are counted so that it's every single view as opposed to viewing the first few seconds. An interesting side effect to this is that I think the inflated view count is pushing more engaged viewers which is pushing watch time which is pushing more views.

I've now learned to stop using Outer Glow on my photo editor and to paint the glow myself with a stabilizer. I can layer it, it feels like I have so much more control, and it looks way better.
