Also, when it comes to simpy "Cora", without the "-san", unfortunately that's just how the name was localized in English (in the manga translation by Viz and anime dub, too) so many people will just say "Cora" and not realize how incomplete that is.

I see what you mean. I agree up until the end where you say it's just the "-san". Well, that could very well be true, but again, I think it's less about the literal name [Cora-san] and more about the feeling behind Law's usage of it. But at this point, we might be saying the same thing.

This is more clear in the anime with him literally blushing and begging to hear Law say it again, but there's nothing in the manga that implies he was upset about it. At the end of the day, "Cora-san" is just a nickname, and only the context of how and why Law says it matters to either of them.

Why always so pessimistic about these two? Coming from Law, Rosi liked "Cora-san" because of what it meant that Law began to call him that. Law didn't know his actual name at the time, so "Cora-san" was always meant to be respectful. Rosi knew that and valued it.
