On the side I'm designing a guide to all the weird aliens and creatures in Evil Eye. I think it'll be a fun side project to do when I'm feeling burnt out on the main story. Going to redraw the title to match the stylized coloring of the different aliens.

The Tartirsi are a cave dwelling sapient species that can handle extreme pressures and their lungs can recycle the oxygen in CO2 allowing them to respire almost indefinitely. They can consume many heavy metals without issue and can handle both spectrum ends of extreme temperatures.

Merry Christmas. Last night my friend audaciously asked me to do the cringy 6-7 meme and in a pure blind rage my eyes rolled into the back of my head and I animated him doing it in a maid outfit in less than 3 hours. I’ve discovered I’m incredibly productive when motivated by spite.

I've learned how to animate with layer masks, so my little dimensional squiggle is perfectly animated without any of the backgrounds clipping into each other and it was a fairly painless process. I AM SO HYPED!! God gave me ribs to keep me humble. #indieanimation #clipstudiopaint #csp

Making an anime opening for my comic. I'm looking for someone to commission a piece of music from. Will post all details I can in the thread.

Songs I am referencing

Dark Mirage from Kirby Star Allies- love the fast tempo and the bass. If my MC were to have a battle theme, it would be that.

Pull the Trigger from Persona Q2- liking the style but would like to match the way the lyrics sync with the music if that makes sense. Has a good flow.

Thrill Seeker from Rush Garcia- love the use of instruments in this piece. I like it when composers make brass and string instruments sound badass.

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood Opening2- I'm specifically looking for a vibe similar to the climax buildup/drop 52 seconds in.

You Will Know Our Names from Xenoblade Chronicles- want the climax to feel the same rush as 1:05 into the song.

Crimson Mirelands from Pokemon Legends Arceus- 6 seconds in has this cool synth. I kind of want that to be the closing note. Or something similar. Doesn't have to be the same instrument.

I want there to be an emphasis on trumpet in some parts. Can feel random. Have there be an occasional trumpet that is "rude" like it interrupts the song, and the idea would be for visuals to get briefly glitchy when the trumpet plays a few notes.

For vocalists, I'm okay with cutting it but if we can, either have a deeper tough feminine voice singing it, or find a closeted twunk with some angst in his chords.

In the past I’d have imposter syndrome because I’d try to color digital art with normal flats and had trouble making it look good. I’ve had an aha moment and gained “art security” by realizing I should just draw digitally in the exact same way I draw on paper, including hand scribbling in color

Ted has a no kill rule (with one specific exception). But with his power set, that could be considered a threat. Anyone with the same world views as his parents make him sick to his stomach, so he has zero care for their wellbeing. Can't respect different skin colors? Lose skin privileges.

Because Ted was so completely sheltered as a child, it weirdly makes him more accepting than your average person. The extra-dimensional aliens that revealed themselves are just as foreign to him as a Canadian would be. To him everything is fresh and new, so aliens aren't that farfetched for himself.

He is unknowingly the host to an evil extra-dimensional parasite that wishes to remain hidden. This parasite does give Ted special body morphing powers. Ted being a moron, assumes he is "built different" and immediately decides to become a vigilante despite not really knowing what that means.

His awkward white guilt social conundrums make him the butt of many jokes, but it is later framed as more and more sad the more you realize how badly his parents sabotaged his growth as a person. He is a good progressive individual but lacks the vocab and know-how which leads to his fumbles.

Character Showcase: #webcomics #indiecomics Ted is a homeless teen who is the orphaned child of two white supremists after they didn't take a pandemic seriously (I SWEAR TO CHRIST THAT STORY BEAT WAS PLANNED IN 2018!!!). He is a good person but lacks social awareness because of his upbringing.

Really satisfied with how the different Tif personas turned out. I strictly use a black pen for all outlines but I made an exception for the inner psyche personas and it turned out better than what I pictured in my head which is the best thing an artist can hope for.

Wrathful Tif. The fiery Tif of anger. She is shackled to be kept in check to avoid completely crashing out, justified or not.

Sorrowful Tif. This Tif is passive, mopey, and prefers to just fade into the background. She believes silence is safest and believes any sort of action just opens the door for trouble.

Joyful Tif. This one is all bright and cheery but can be equally morbid and her sense of humor can turn dark on a coin flip. She has fun but is also a complete nihilist just making the best of bad situations. Can be relieving but doesn't give serious things the amount of serious thought they deserve.

Tif throughout her teenage angst stages of rebellion.

So I was at a comic book shop today and was thinking about how I’ve heard of Invincible but didn’t really ever give it the time of day until after it became super popular with the show. I’m sleeping on countless gold stories so I thought I’d find some for myself by picking a random book. Read alts.
