Each person can set up their account so it blocks messages from people who aren't already friends, so that -could- be the issue. It's sort of weird, because most people I know don't really even engage with the direct friend list as much as server channels.

Which is a shame, because I still think it's unrivaled in terms high-degree of server customization & moderation, text and voice chat, streaming, and filesharing. And it's all pretty competently executed.

Pretty much every day for a wide variety of purposes: keeping in touch with friends (mostly non-furry), gaming groups/servers, art servers, etc. That being said, Discord has gone the way of commercialized bloat in the past few years and while I would've recommended it at one point, I can't now.

I used to loathe having to connect through YYZ for the reasons you described to the point where I just found alternate routes altogether when I could. I also don't think DEN gets enough hate; great airport to connect through, but consistently bad departure/arrival experience.

I think the difficulty scales pretty fairly, but they give you tons of rope to hang yourself early on if you pick a harder zone to start with.

Yeah, if I recall you need to start moving before the cast completes, about 3/4 into the cast. It gets weird in p4 because I remember having to cheat the snapshot on hatches by moving at the last second and taking the hatch outside the neurolink before the debuff falls off to avoid the twister.

Non-morning person, and I'm 100% the opposite, precisely because I enjoy the night time. Would much prefer to see things go to standard time permanently. Sun setting after 8 pm is crazy, and it was even later in Canada where I grew up.

It's pretty much that, the comfort of playing on a couch in front of a tv/projector, and portable gaming. Wasn't a well-received transition away from physical media for PC games either, but you do have more/better options for retaining access to digital games on a PC.

I think the most aggravating thing about the era of touch screens from a design perspective is that many of them give you success feedback after a press even when nothing happens. Just why? Don't beep or show me an icon interaction and still make me press it 4 times.
