I was on Capitol Hill this afternoon, it made me feel better. The halls were full of advocacy groups making visits, phones were ringing in offices. People are doing something. In one office the answer was “The Senator supports all of the President’s nominees”, and yet, people kept calling.

I'm deeply disappointed by the disruption and failure to pass the bipartisan CR that would have included TA to end 14(c) certificates. This setback impedes progress towards fair wages and equal opportunities for disabled workers. We must continue to push for change and hold our leaders accountable.

8 years ago I was most worried about the impact of the incoming administration on health care. Today, I am worried about health care and I am aware the potential impacts are much broader. I am most worried that folks will struggle to engage across a broad field of issues.
