I watched half of it on a flight. Not a single line of dialog I experienced sounded like something a person would ever say, and none of them acted or reacted in ways that made sense.

Blood Brothers, one of my favorite groups of antagonists from Vampire: The Masquerade, embodying the transhumanist ideals of the Sabbat taken to their logical extreme. Think Sense8, but directed by David Cronenburg. 😉 Happy pride! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

"Noble beasts honored with forced reincarnation are uplifted into Vanara, in recollection of the divine apes of the sagas. Though rebirth knits wounds and expands the consciousness, these warriors remain as scarred as the ravaged groves they seek to avenge." Thousand Cults of Indus #trenchcrusade

At least for me, if someone is coming to my posts with no response other than insults, then I don't mind mocking their falacies. I'm not online to embrace my haters, and I don't believe that people commenting hate are hoping to have their eyes opened to new ways of thinking. (Hail Satan 🤘)

Beyond that, we need more old-as-hell heroes. We can't let Clint Eastwood's problematic ass define what a way-too-old badass should look like!

Maybe once I get a fuller range of concept art I'll try approaching someone! I'd love to come up with some rules for them as well, but I'll need to get more familiar with the system mechanics.

"Conscripted from across of city-states of Indus, one could find icons from any of the Thousand Cults within the ranks of the sepoys, and every battle is certain to be followed with heated debates over which gods or ceremonies were responsible for the day's victory or defeat." -Trench Crusade fanart

Thanks! Comrade Bluski's word-count limits are really cramping my style in that regard. I have slightly longer and more descriptive lore blubs on my Instagram and Patreon posts. That being said, the lore is still definitely being fleshed out, so being cryptic is working in my favor. 😉

Concept art for the Thousand Cults of Indus, a homebrewed Trench Crusade faction. . Dakini are masterworks of forced reincarnation, their bodies stitched from martyred warrior women dragged from No Man's Land to create earthly vessels worthy to house the handmaidens of the Mahavidya."

Heck yeah! I hadn't originally intended the Thousand Cults to have a Fankenstein-y angle, but some of the lore and art pieces have started leaning that direction. 😅

Among others! I'd pictured Indus as being pretty decentralized, and that jemadar spend their many lives chasing campaigns across the region, learning from and bonding with a wide range of sects, tribes, and city-states. Their equipment is a mismatched hodge-podge of keepsakes and custom pieces.

Concept art for the "Thousand Cults of Indus," a homebrewed Trench Crusade faction. Jemadar are the veteran field commanders of the autonomous warbands of Indus, each a survivor of decades of service and dozens of forced reincarnations.

Death Eagles - an ancient space marine chapter of grim repute, risen from the hateful years of blind vengeance and merciless extermination that followed the Horus Heresy. Wearing the eagle's skull and burnt, blackened wings, they were the Imperium's grief and despair personified.

Heavy, superheavy. Definitely straying from anything resembling historically accurate with superheavy, but what is fantasy adventure if not straining the limits of believablity?

Armor progression! It was a fun challenge to try to make a cohesive aesthetic in a progression of sturdiness, make them generic enough to look like potential starting equipment, and also pleasing enough to the eye to still capture the imagination.
