Happy Xmas! Spent yesterday and the day before doing a Merry Little Christmas chord arrangement for the family, and here’s the A section that’s easy enough to play in suit! Have a cozy holiday, everyone c:

What a privilege it is to ache so after saying goodbye (Denver airport, A7IV, Tamron 28–200 Di III)

A photo looking out a plane window at the airport windows. It's late evening, and a light shines against the sky. Out of focus raindrops on the window are like stars on top of the sunset clouds

I've been slow at collecting photos from various people I met at @denfur.org! Have a couple late #FursuitFriday shots from @soongdae.bsky.social, @eltees.bsky.social, Sunburn Studios, and Hotspot Myers (if you latter two are on here, let me know!). Had a blast at the con; thank you, everyone c:

A candid shot of five fursuiters. From left to right: an okapi, a red fox, a lynx, a fennec (me!), another red fox, and a wolf-fox hybrid. Everyone is being a big goof, as is proper

A big gaggle of fursuiters out on the town (aka wandering 16th St in Denver near the convention)

My fennec suit with a big smile and a wide hug pose!

A fennec fursuiter absolutely piledriving a lynx on the con floor at Denfur. He knows what he did

Here's my solo on @scales.bsky.social's new single for #FursuitFriday! Some tricky right hand pinky taps and lots of high-efficiency picking on this one, complete with overindulgent sweepy outro, wooo (PS the album is gonna be a jam)

First week in Portland in the books! - Hiked and walked a LOT - So many farmers' markets - Great food everywhere - Continued my Pope House card - The Timbers Army is welcoming and also bonkers - Got a Japanese Garden membership - Rain <3 - My apartment is still a cardboard hell This place is great

The "Travel Oregon" sign at the Oregon Welcome Center on highway 5 North. It's got a little slab of wood shaped like the state and it's very cute

The hillside behind said welcome center. Dappled clouds on lavender patches mmmm

A shot from the Rowena Point trail that looks like The Sound of Music, with a hill of yellow flowers in the foreground and Mt Hood in the back

I can't believe I live here now What is this feeling? I feel, like, kind of … good?

A view of downtown Portland, looking East from the hillside, near sunset. The prominent landmarks are The Big Pink near center frame and Mt Hood looming large in the far background to the right

I guess it's actually happening, huh This is terrifying, and difficult, and heart-wrenching, but I think it'll be worth it. Time for the next adventure

One Sonoran Desert bucket list item done! Made a bunch of prickly pear syrup from prickly pears harvested around my neighborhood. It's … really good. I'm going to experiment so much with prickly pear mixed drinks oh man People who have lived in the SW: what else should be on my list before I go?

Many rows of mason jars, 16 jars total, containing — if I do say so myself — really tasty-looking prickly pear syrup

Any book can be a fennec book if you ask the author and the author is cool! Thanks @joabaldwin.com

An opening quote page from the novel Masks of the Miscam by Joaquín Baldwin. There’s a hand-drawn fennec under the quotation, which reads, “drifting about among flowers and sunshine, I am like a butterfly or bee, though not half so busy or with so sure an aim. But in the midst of these methodless rovings I seek to spell out by close inspection things not well understood - John Muir”
