Wanted to share something cool: the toolbox I worked was used for some (semi-)official OW footage! @rydarus.bsky.social used the toolbox to record some of the shots on Route: 66 in this video. Keep an eye out for an official release trailer this month covering what else you can do with my toolbox!

Happy Thanksgiving! Made scallops for the first time tonight, need to find larger scallops cause searing these are annoying, but turned out pretty great. Scallops, Dashi-Mustard Beurre Blanc, Burnt Crispy Broccoli, Mala Oil Roast Chicken TK Lemon Tart, I'm based gourd hater

Only 3 ish “music video” moments truly worked for me this season. When Vi and Jinx go at it in act one and it immediately went into song it just took all of the wind out of the sails.

I think the show is excellent but this season especially shows a lack of artistic maturity. The way it uses needle drops constantly and undercuts all the emotional moments with a song is infuriating and makes what should be a 9.5/10 a flat 8. Act 1 was especially egregious for me.

Mist filters come in different strengths and there’s also other types of diffusion. If they’re pro mists you slide them on in front of the lens in your mattebox or whatever But sometimes people use things like women’s stockings stretched out to diffuse and cover the lens

Yes. I also think it’s a really bad choice, way too much diffusion and everything is flaring cause of it. Might be a cultural thing or something though.

It’s a fuckton of diffusion on the lens, black pro mist or similar

It’s new, they never make drinks that have actual amounts of alcohol but it was keshian spiced cream? Had two types of rum and baileys so not surprised it actually had some kick lol
