VII Remake got an update that added a Booster/Cheats menu to the options. You have to go Menu, System, Options, Streamlined Progression to access it. This is probably to help newer players on Switch 2 and Xbox get through the game quickly so they can be ready for Rebirths release.

A screenshot of the new Streamlined Progression menu from Final Fantasy VII REMAKE. The options include
Constant Max HP
Constant Max MP
Limit Gauge Always Full
ATB Gauge Always Full
Constant Max Damage
2x EXP & 3x AP Gain
Easy Weapon Ability Acquisition
Constant Max Gil
Constant Max Recovery Items
Max Materia Levels

Honestly making the OC character outfits the thing for collab DLC rather then actual real characters was the right move on Capcoms part. Plus it did give us that cool Yor vs Chun-Li animation for fun too.
