God I love Trails in the Sky SC/2nd Chapter so much. This game means a lot to me and kinda attributed to me being a much more positive person and influence on those around me, no matter the situation. And the remake delivered on all fronts successfully. Glad to 100% this game in it's entirety <3

Not my top nine games, mind. (Except the first five; those're my top five of faves of all time.) But they're all games I continue to look back on and see how they helped me learn or shape me, my interests, and my views on the world/life today.

Can't stop thinking about how good Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter is. It's so good... Need to 100% the achievements this weekend <3

I took 7 days straight off of work just to no-life this game, doing the typical Trails'ing and exhausting all NPC dialogue as they updated. Fuck, this game was good and I felt the same as when I first played it more than 10 years ago. Now I think I'm going to rest the entire Wednesday away.

If story/characters aren't a huge factor, the game is easily fine to just go into without playing Three Houses tho

010

Rycanto @rycanto.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

The game seems largely independent from Three Houses in my personal experience so far (3 hours in). But I've seen the trailers and seen multiple things/characters that look like they're from 3H. It doesn't seem largely connected plotwise to me, though.

God, remaking my favorite game of all time (Trails in the Sky SC) is probably one of the best... recovering gifts I can ever ask for.

Rycanto @rycanto.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

I love that they did what they did in 1st Chapter and even changed some scenes by adding in different music at certain parts. Some of these musical decisions add a lot and it just gets me goin'. Besides the overuse of "Decision to Leave." I'll never understand that one.

Rycanto @rycanto.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

I've gone through way too many emotions seeing these scenes in Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter in full 3D and english voice over. This game is beautiful. I'm crying and in shambles and I love this remake to death. Ooooh my gaaaaaaawd.

I was telling my discord call group this when we saw the trailer. Glad I'm not the only one who was thinking this exact thing.

We got Layton vs Phoenix Wright ported to steam before Professor Layton and the New World of Steam release. 🥲

Do people actually hate how the OOT Remake looks or are people just making posts to farm likes. I overall liked how things looked besides some minor nitpicks.

Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter is peak. Everything up until the end of chapter 1 was great. Amazing. One of my favorite games of all time getting a good remake is all I could ever want this year.

Estelle looking really cool in her SC fit here though. I like Murakami's artstyle and my child here just looks really, really cool. Dunno why I'm playing the JP demo of the 2nd but I'm gonna enjoy the hell out of 2nd Chapter's too when it comes out lol

Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter opening movie. Really nice animation as Falcom's been putting out as of late. This version of Gin no Ishi Kin no Tsubasa is nice, not a fan of how it closes out in this opening though lol

IloveyouIloveyouIloveyouIloveyou GungHo. I appreciate the fuck outta them for going out of their way to make these changes, and it must've been a bit convenient to re-record the lines for these changes, since they had to bring back the VAs for 2nd Chapter Thank you, GungHo. FUCK YEAH.

I think the last time I played a game in full jp was Trails into Reverie before it was localized. Before that was probably Vesperia PS3 lol I'll still deffo buy the localized version when it comes out, but in the mean time.................

I feel like ass after playing Relink: Endless Ragnarok for almost 12 hours. But it was fun. Seeing the online be active is fun, and playing CD reduction+Substitute+DMG Cut+Invincible Dodging Captain with randos is still fun. Let me absorb all the hits for you!!!

Assuming Mina herself is the guest character; she'll barely be a year old when she gets her transition from 2D to 3D. That's kinda neat.

Got all medals on Expert and Normal mode on Star Fox. Still gotta do the challenges, but the stupid Battle Mode is distracting me lol. Gotta take advantage of that online multiplayer before it dies off. It's fun for what it is and I want it to be active for a good while at least. Fffff

Doing a quick replay of Granblue Fantasy Relink in preparation for Endless Ragnarok at the start of July. . . Gosh, I wonder if I should find a new group to do the quests with. Or just do it solo.
