RyanIsMostDope @rybur525.bsky.social · 22/09/2026From what I can gather, the word “remit” is like a scope of responsibility. So Activision is basically in charge of World’s Edge and Rare, Bethesda is in charge of Obsidian, etc. 130
RyanIsMostDope @rybur525.bsky.social · 19/09/2026Wait what did I miss about the Kennedy Center? Is Trump trying to take it down just because he’s upset that he can’t have his name on it? 000

RyanIsMostDope @rybur525.bsky.social · 13/09/2026BlueSky please why do you fill my feed with furry art I keep saying “suggest less like this” but that doesn’t work. No shade to the furries, they do great work and aren’t hurting anybody. I just don’t wanna scroll through Bsky and see that stuff lol 010
RyanIsMostDope @rybur525.bsky.social · 12/09/2026I hadn’t touched a Metroid game at all until 2021. Dread got announced and I was like, “Shit this looks good, I want in. What do I have to play before this?” And so I just picked up the older games and started playing. That was all it took 000
RyanIsMostDope @rybur525.bsky.social · 12/09/2026Getting offline does help with this mentality so much. If you’re comparing yourself to people who have been fans of something for forever you’ll worry that you’ll be perceived as a larper. But if you just get into something for yourself you’ll be the fan you wish you were. 101
RyanIsMostDope @rybur525.bsky.social · 09/09/2026So unfair that all the Zelda stuff is sold out already. And I guarantee so much of it is going to scalpers instead of people that actually want it. If I go on eBay rn and see the Pro Controller selling for an astronomical price I’m gonna scream 100
RyanIsMostDope @rybur525.bsky.social · 07/09/2026Someone in my area is going to card shows and buying all the Psyduck cards he can before I’m able to get to them. This means war 000

RyanIsMostDope @rybur525.bsky.social · 31/07/2026This isn’t a question because GTA will do perform phenomenally. Will it exceed their expectations? Not sure. But if you expect to make 600 Billion dollars and only make 580 Billion dollars, you’re not exactly in the breadline. 140

RyanIsMostDope @rybur525.bsky.social · 02/07/2026TL;DR: Damn gaming is becoming so unappealing to me. 000
RyanIsMostDope @rybur525.bsky.social · 02/07/2026Hell I won’t even say that I refuse to get a PS6 like EVER. It’s a possibility that prices MIGHT come down in a decade or so and I decide to buy one secondhand and check out some games that I missed. But I won’t be in any rush and who knows if I’ll even be compelled. 100
RyanIsMostDope @rybur525.bsky.social · 02/07/2026And to clarify this isn’t me saying I won’t be into games AT ALL. It’s just darn near it. I still own a Switch 2, I’ll be picking up physical games for that as long as Nintendo keeps making them. I own a PC (yeah I know those are all digital), and like I said my current backlog is massive. 110
RyanIsMostDope @rybur525.bsky.social · 02/07/2026But it’s just not worth it for me. I was practically looking for a reason to not care for next generation anyway, and I guess I found it. The PS6 will launch and I won’t be excited at all. 100
RyanIsMostDope @rybur525.bsky.social · 02/07/2026I know I’m in the minority, the convenience of going digital is too great for some people to pass up, and younger people who are playing games don’t have the same attachment to physical media like I do. So the industry will live on, GTA6 will still make 28 septillion dollars, and no one will care. 100
RyanIsMostDope @rybur525.bsky.social · 02/07/2026I thought I’d have one more generation in me before I had to finally let go of my discs. But it’s happening NEXT generation instead. And y’know what, I guess that’s fine. Lord knows I already have enough games to last a lifetime, especially at the pace I’m playing them. So I guess come 2028, I’m out 100
RyanIsMostDope @rybur525.bsky.social · 02/07/2026But anyone who knows me knows I’m a physical media guy. I buy my movies on disc, I buy my Switch cartridges, and I buy my PS5 discs. I’ve more or less known that the “all digital future” was coming sooner not later, so I expected to maybe have to buy a PS6 AND a separate disc drive or something 100
RyanIsMostDope @rybur525.bsky.social · 02/07/2026That, plus prices for tech becoming astronomical due to the AI bubble, I was already looking at the upcoming generation of games and considering not getting the PS6. I haven’t been itching for the next hardware iteration like I usually am, the PS5 gen feels like it hasn’t even fully taken off yet. 100
RyanIsMostDope @rybur525.bsky.social · 02/07/2026Not to be all, “I’m boycotting Sony because they took my discs away,” but like also I am. I’ve not really been feeling video games for a while as it is. I love the idea of them still, I’m still in the space and talking about them. But I play less than I ever have. It’s barely a hobby for me anymore 100
RyanIsMostDope @rybur525.bsky.social · 30/06/2026I’m guessing you wrote back to me and then blocked me because there’s a reply on my comment that I can’t see and also I can’t see the comment I originally replied to. So idk whatever you wanted to say to me in anger I didn’t see it. 👍🏻 000
RyanIsMostDope @rybur525.bsky.social · 30/06/2026Dude what the hell are you on lol what compels you to argue over this. Touch grass my friend. 220
RyanIsMostDope @rybur525.bsky.social · 29/06/2026Got some crazy pulls today. I already pulled the Froakie, I bought the Frogadier separately, so I was really just hunting for the Mega Greninja ex to complete the illustration. Then I accidentally pulled the Mega Hyper Rare Mega Greninja ex. So I guess I’m finally done buying Chaos Rising now! 000
