Probably the hardest thing to do when you are trying to break through on a team is earn the coach's trust/attention. It appears Koivunen has accomplished that part, which is big. He will have to keep earning his spot moving forward with all the depth, but this was a big hurdle

Justin Brazeau is already on IR so it won't be him. Koivunen currently on the third line as Kelsey referenced. That leaves Soderblom, Hallander, Kuzmenko (not likely), Robertson (not likely), Solovyov (would put them down to 6 D) My guess is Soderblom even if not deserving of waivers

This is a pretty big development. They can run three really solid scoring lines now. I'd let Kindel have Rust for now and put Koivunen (2GP 1g 1a 74.86 xGF%) on the left side. If you're trailing you can absolutely load up the following 71-87-59 67-81-17 or supercharge it 71-87-81 😍 59-67-17

Kuzmenko is understandably off to a slow start. Team low 25.02 xGF% with an eye test match Kindel with Kuzmenko is 20.58. Kindel away from him is 50.91 and the eye test on Ben is great Give him a night off and get Hallander back in there. Team leading 86.31. Training camp to now he has earned it

It is just my personal gut feeling but I feel way more comfortable with Murashov in net with his very minimal sample than Silovs. It is completely because of his body language. He looks confident and proactive Even when Silovs is on it looks like he is fighting it most nights

dewar is a fine 4th line player. He scored a bunch last year given his role. On most teams this wouldn't be an issue, but Dubas went crazy with the forward depth for the bottom 6. I have a feeling Lizotte and Dewar will have a jersey on most nights which isn't going to jive with my preferences
