You saw a need and wanted to help out your coworkers. Honestly, that means a lot in my book. The fact that your supervisor got upset over a mistake tells me more about them than you. A good supervisor doesn't get upset, they work to fix the issue and prevent it next time.

I completely agree with you. Funny, my experience been the opposite though. I even had a CA and FO ask if I could back up a FA report of fumes on landing. While I couldn't, I was also very clear in saying that my position wouldn't have helped due to seating and air conditioning configuration.

Busy afternoon in Atlanta for Approach Monitor. "Standby for approach monitor" as the PRM monitor controller dishes out a dozen directions a minute to help these planes avoid wind shear.

One thing that I'm used to is "oh do you want a trading card?" No. I want to know the assumed temperature on takeoff. The crew looks at me like I'm crazy. Thankfully though, they entertain me and I'm usually pretty accurate based on hearing the engine. 😂
