Went over to Asbury Park last night & saw some dang country music. Charley Crockett and his crew put on a solid show full of vintage country ramblers mixed with some boot stompin grooves. The opener, Durand Jones & the Indications were some smooth purveyors of straight up baby-making music.

“American Idiot” by Green Day was released OTD in 2004. A massive album that made Green Day one of the biggest acts in the world AGAIN. I saw them in Philly summer of ‘24; they were celebrating “American Idiot” & “Dookie.” All those years in and the band still rocked, still put on a monster show.
