Absolutely beautiful evening and a great concert at an outdoor bandshell in St. Joseph, MI last evening. Played atop a hill adjacent a boat channel that feeds out to Lake Michigan. Performed to about 260 people. I love what I do! 🎵❤️🏁

Saturday morning breakfasts are the best breakfasts. Sauteed salami and a jalapeño pepper in butter. Scrambled 2 eggs, salt and pepper seasoned. Cooked 5 minutes. Plated on toast with giardiniera and a few dashes of hot sauce. Added grape tomatoes. "Fermi Brush Fire" Voila!

The penultimate July 2026 morning. Also barely 60F at 0730 and low humidity. Not too common here this time of year. More mid-September than late July, and even with a nagging head and chest cold, will enjoy a walk out in it.

6 years ago #otd my family and I settled in for 7 nights at a rental property on the largest island in Lake Michigan: Beaver Island. Remote, sparsely populated, without wifi in the house and a true social distancing vacation (1st pandemic summer), it was unforgettable.

7 days. > 2000 road miles/3200 KM. Two primary languages spoken in the areas we were. Incredible people. Returned from our Canadian adventure with the primary areas visited being Toronto, Niagara Falls, and Montreal. Eh vous especially, Montréal, WOW OUI. Damn. And until we meet again... ❤️⚜️🇨🇦
