We're in process of changing our UK distribution partners due to multiple failures on their part which has led to their liquidation. As result #MercyFalls isn't currently available on UK & Ireland streaming but we're working to get it back online ASAP #filmdistribution #insolvency #scandal

As 2024 draws to a close I felt it was time to update my reel. I'm very much hoping 2025 is a very productive and creatively engaging year. All signs are certainly pointing in that direction. That said, Director for Hire open to offers. For the full reel click: lnkd.in/dmPmCy7s

The autumn air clearing the brainfog, ready for another day of film finance chatter. It’s occurred to me that to be a working film director you need to also be an active Producer. Take the bull by the horns, take control of your own destiny. Never wait for permission as it’s likely never coming.

#MercyFalls is now included with @primevideouk. Perfect #slashermovie for a cold winter night. Be sure and support the film by giving us 5 stars. It all helps. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #horrormovies #horror #scotland #scottish #indiefilm #outlander #laurenlyle

#Actors approach their work in their own unique way & in turn require different things from a director. The key is figuring that out quick, so you can give them what they need from you, keeping everyone on the same page. (No pun intended). #MercyFalls is out now on streaming.

#indiefilmmaking is usually such a fast moving beast, it's rare to have days where the director & DP can really embrace a location. I love the cabin scenes in Mercy Falls - we put in some serious camera & lighting design. These scenes are peak Rhodes! #MercyFalls is out now on streaming.

The scariest day of them all, DAY ONE! All eyes are you, “Am I being judged?” The imposter syndrome sets in fast. Midway through Day 2 it hopefully buggers off and lets get on with it. #MercyFalls is out now on streaming. #indiefilm #indiefilmmaker #indiefilmmaking #horror #horrormovies

The practicalities of filming stunts was probably the biggest new challenge to get my head around. Fortunately I had an ace 1st AD in Remo Catani, followed by the health & safety team from #NoTimeToDie. #MercyFalls is out now on digital. #indiefilm #scotland #horror #thriller

Finding a #waterfall big enough that was accessible to a film crew at night was incredibly tricky. We travelled far and wide across #Scotland, looking at multiple locations. That said, it was still a tricky location. #MercyFalls on digital streaming sites #indiefilm #horror

This was a day that took a lot of thinking on our feet. Working with animals on set you might as well throw your plans for the day out of the nearest window. #MercyFalls out now on digital streaming services. #indiefilm #indiefilmmaking #horror #horrormovies #slasher #survival

We had a fair amount of night shoots on #MercyFalls. That was a fairly new experience for me. Well worth it for the incredible atmosphere and visuals created. MERCY FALLS IS NOW AVAILABLE ON DIGITAL #horrormovies #horror #cinematography #indiefilm #cinema #scotland #bts

It’s been a surreal day for a few reasons including one meeting that I can’t talk about, but apart from that both my feature films went live on UK streaming platforms today. #MercyFalls is out now on various streaming platforms and #LostAtChristmas has returned to the BBCiPlayer for a third year.

My 2nd #featurefilm #MercyFalls is now available on various streaming platforms. Please check it out for a fun and terrifying #survival #horror set in the epic Scottish Highland. A group of incredibly talented people made this with limited budget and time. A triumph for #indiefilm. So proud.

This is such a satisfying read, intellectually written by someone who 100% understood what we were saying with this film. Every subtextual strand delicately laid out without spoiling the film for others. www.ghoulsmagazine.com/articles/mer…

It’s been a crazy few months tacked onto the end of a non-stop intense two years bringing Mercy Falls to the screen. Here am I on the 1st day of filming all full of energy and optimism. Still smiling though possibly a little greyer as a result 🫣
