Good times in Minneapolis. Saw (and met) Eliana Glass on Thursday night, Cécile McLorin Salvant last night (Friday). I’ve had Eliana’s new song, “Drapes,” stuck in my head ever since. Really wish I had recorded Cécile’s rendition of Bessie Smith’s “Black Mountain Blues” – goosebumps the whole song.
